The Sky’s the Limit: Signing Your Business onto the Cloud – Part IX
Posted on April 12, 2013 by

invoiceraIn our newest blog series, we are discussing the 3rd wave of the cloud conversation – how to manage mission critical business applications in the cloud to increase productivity and realize a greater reduction in the cost of running your business.  In first seven installments of the series, we covered Geckoboard, AwayFind, inDinero, Highrise, WorkFlowy, Boxmeup, eHour and finally Tempo.  In this edition of the series, we will discuss a cloud based application that allows you to create templated estimates, purchase orders and invoices, as well as manage time, projects and expenses from anywhere on the fly.

In our ever increasingly mobile world of doing business, imagine you are in front of a prospect winding up your prequalification and discovery meeting to find that the client is ready to move forward immediately and would like a quote right away.  Until recently mobile users would have to remote in to their desktop to create the quote which can be cumbersome or slow or wait until they were back at the office possibly losing the precious window for closing the sale.

Invoicera is an invoicing and billing application that allows you to create, manage and send high quality, branded estimates instantaneously and send them to your clients for approval. When a sale has been won, quotes can be converted to invoices with just a single button click and clients have the flexibility to use multiple currencies and more than 20 payment gateways.  Invoices can be scheduled to be automatically sent at a later date, you can attach PDF files and attach documents to quotes, and create customized late fee settings that accrue automatically.

Invoicera offers the ability to create projects from invoices, assign and manage tasks and resources, and track time associated with each project in an intuitive and uncluttered dashboard.  If you don’t see all the information you need, the application offers many other features that can be customized and added to the dasboard through the settings menu.

Invoicera is available with three pricing plans beginning with the $19.99 Classic  offering unlimited estimates/invoices, 100 clients and 5 staff, and 5MB documents size, the $39.95/month Business plan with 10 staff and 50MB documents size, and finally the Infinite Plan for larger businesses for $99/month.  The app offers a 30 day free trial for each plan and doesn’t require a contract or long term commitment.    If you are looking for a simple, easy to use, web-based quoting and invoicing interface, Invoicera may the solution for your business.
